They are currently looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team and support their advanced infrastructure and security operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Cisco, Fortinet, SD-WAN, Zscaler, and ITSM processes. This is a great chance to join a global team, expand your network security skills, and work with cutting-edge tools in a balanced, no-travel environment. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite in the Denton, TX area and 2 days remote. Required Skills & Experience • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, Cisco routers and switches, Spanning Tree, and VTP • Proficient in Cisco Firewalls, IDS, Firepower Management Console • Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager • Working knowledge of SD-WAN, Dynamic Multipoint VPN • Familiar with Zscaler (Private and Internet Access), Infoblox DHCP/DNS/IP management • Experience with Cisco ISE, Prime, DNAC, and wireless controllers (IOS and AireOS) • Proficient in using ServiceNow and understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge) • Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and documentation skills • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role Desired Skills & Experience • Familiarity with scripting (Python preferred) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Able to work across time zones and on holidays if needed • Highly collaborative, proactive, and service-minded • Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown • 60% Cisco Meraki hardware, switches, wireless • 40% Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint Daily Responsibilities • 70% Hands-on technical tasks (monitoring, troubleshooting, improving operations) • 20% Security and compliance-related duties • 10% Team collaboration and documentation The Offer • Eligible for bonus or commission • Benefits include: • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Paid vacation time • Stock options Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
