Piper Companies is looking for a Business Analyst to join an insurance organization based in Hunt Valley, MD. This is a full time, onsite position.. Essential Duties of the Business Analyst: • 5+ years as Business Analyst within enterprise IT organizations • Expert at creating functional specs through translation of business requirements • Understand the architecture, database structures, APIs, and integrations within the Microsoft .NET product ecosystem • Define and document test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements Qualifications of the Business Analyst: • Bachelors Degree in related field • Strong knowledge of .NET framework, SQL databases, and RESTful APIs • Proficiency in writing functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is preferred • Experience in the insurance or financial industry is preferred Compensation for the Business Analyst: • $100,000 - $120,000 (based on experience) • Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays This job opens for applications on 3/13/25.
