Windows Admin / Security Location: Sacramento, CA 95864 Openings: 1 opening Length: 6 month contract with possible perm Pay Rate: $45-55/hr Interview Times: 1 and done interview Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a Windows Administrator to work for a leader in the construction industry. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of Windows-based computer systems, servers, and networks. Responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and upgrading Windows operating systems, software, and hardware components. You will also be reviewing and monitoring system performance and security as well as troubleshooting layers to ensure system stability and functionality. A small piece of this role will involve security administration as well. You will be helping to review files and emails that are quarantined or deemed corrupt. This part of the role will be 20-30% of the day-to-day responsibilities, along with the Windows Administration functions. Additional responsibilities will include, competency in Windows Administration, Ticketing Queue Management, Account and Security Requests and Monitoring and Responding to requests. Must have: • 5 years of experience as a Windows Admin • Entry level experience within Security Administration • Experience in eliminating server out of the cloud environment • Experience with managing and monitoring windows systems, servers, and networks • Experience with troubleshooting techniques within windows servers, systems, and layers • Experience reviewing files and emails that are corrupt or malicious • Experience with a wide range of technologies (not looking for enterprise level experience, rather someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats that has a startup mentality) • Experience with these softwares are preferred • Proofpoint, Cohesity, SentinelOne, Azure
