We are searching for a dedicated On-Premise Azure DevOps Specialist to join our Application Development Team. In this role, you will take charge of the daily management, maintenance, and security of our Azure DevOps and Spirateam IT infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, streamline our continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and enhance software development workflows across teams. Key Responsibilities: • Install and configure Microsoft Azure DevOps and Inflectra's Spirateam and Rapise server applications on-premise. • Administer Azure on-premise services, including virtual machines, containers, networking, and databases. • Utilize version control systems, particularly Git, to manage and track code changes effectively. • Leverage strong PowerShell scripting skills to automate tasks and processes. • Implement monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for performance and reliability management. • Uphold security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), Azure Policy compliance, and secret management using Azure Key Vault. • Troubleshoot and resolve server-related technical issues, including hardware failures, software conflicts, and application errors. • Provide technical support to internal users on server issues promptly. • Collaborate effectively with development, operations, and security teams, fostering a strong DevOps culture. • Monitor server resource utilization and plan for necessary upgrades or scaling proactively. • Optimize server performance through configuration tuning, key management, and resource allocation. • Assist Enterprise System administrators as needed. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Implement and enforce strong security policies on servers, including user access controls and encryption standards. • Monitor server logs for unusual activity and investigate potential security breaches. • Stay informed about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, applying necessary mitigation strategies. • Familiarity with DoD DISA STIG requirements. • Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to DevOps processes. • Knowledge of Agile processes and software engineering best practices. • Proven on-premises experience as an Azure DevOps Administrator. Preferred Qualifications: • Understanding of CMMI processes or similar frameworks. • Experience with SQL Server. • Skill in migrating from TFS to Azure import service. Qualifications: • Security + certification is required. • An Associate's Degree is required, with direct work experience considered as a substitute (1 year experience = 1 year education). • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing application development support. Clearance: • Secret clearance required to start; Must be able to obtain TS clearance.
