SUMMARY: Senior Database Engineer oversees implementation, configuration, maintenance, security measures, and performance of critical Database systems. The Senior Database Engineer is responsible to maintain internal database environments, migrate to and support of databases running both on-premise and in a cloud environment. This position must interact with all levels of company employees, and with outside customers, suppliers, contractors, and others. Responsibilities • Participate with the Lazydays RV Digital Transformation on re-platforming databases, along with guiding and reviewing the Keeping the Lights On (KTLO) work with 3rd party service providers. • Work in partnership with Lazydays RV Data Architect to create a solid foundation for data accessibility and security. • Performing utilization analysis using Azure Portal and Log Analytics, execute data profiling, file sizing, and implement file system partitioning. • Performing data profiling and scaling, defining delta table strategies and table partitioning for scalability. • Extract and/or load data and authenticate data while preserve data integrity. • Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team. • May provide consultation on complex projects and work independently on same. • Produce policies and procedures to support database development. • Other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer, engineering, data science or a related field; or equivalent work experience • 8 years of hands-on professional data engineering experience • Experience Azure Data Lake concepts. • Experience with Bronze/Silver/Gold data organizing principles • Experience with Azure Data Factor • Experience with Azure Data Bricks • Experience with maintaining Azure Data Lake Storage environments. • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus. • Knowledge of or willingness to learn: • Azure SQL Database (SaaS) • MySQL/MariaDB and PostgreSQL design, implementation, and management. • NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB and Redis Lazydays is an EOE/Drug-Free Workplace
