We have a 6 month contract to hire for a seasoned Senior Business Intelligence Engineer with 4-6 years of proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-class data solutions. Brings deep expertise in Snowflake, Talend, SQL, and Power BI, with a strong background in building scalable data pipelines, advanced data modeling, and creating dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights. Adept at supporting large-scale transformation initiatives, enhancing data integration frameworks, and driving new business initiatives with accuracy and quality. Skilled in Agile collaboration, working closely with developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to meet project deliverables on time. Recognized for strong analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving data trends, with additional experience in cloud integration tools such as Informatica IDMC, Power Apps, and Microsoft Azure. 100% Remote. Key projects include supporting transformation, enhancements, new business initiatives. • Purpose of this role is to build data pipelines and modeling within Snowflake using Talend and other data integration tools. Responsibilities: • Daily or weekly stand up interaction with the teams based on the project deliverables. Typical tasks will shift based on deliverables. This resource will be responsible for building data pipelines and modeling within Snowflake using Talend and other data integration tools. • Daily schedule will follow regular business hours, no overtime needed. • Resource will interact with Hiring Manager and other devs/tech leads. • Role to play key part of strategic transformation of our IT operations data into public data assets. Opportunity to work on new data trends using technologies such as Snowflake, on-prem and cloud data integration toolset. In addition role would have an exposure for an end to end BI stack. • Performance will be indicated by meeting project timelines and delivery expectations. Description: Job Profile Summary Position Purpose: Creates complex Enterprise-class data assets that provide business insight and aid business decision-making. Assets will include (but are not limited to) reports, visualizations, dashboards, and data extracts. Produces complex reports and performs meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions. Combines these reports with subject-matter expertise to deliver coherent, insightful takeaways comprehensive read-outs, and advice/recommendations grounded in what our data is telling us. Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science). Requires 4 - 6 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
