We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Exchange & Active Directory Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise-level email and directory services, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of critical systems. Key Responsibilities • Manage, configure, and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premises and Online) and Microsoft Teams. • Monitor server health and performance. • Implement and maintain email security protocols including anti-spam, anti-virus, and encryption. • Perform regular backups and recovery operations. • Troubleshoot and resolve email-related issues and outages. • Manage user accounts, groups, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and domain controllers. • Implement directory security, including authentication and access controls. • Conduct regular audits and cleanup of directory objects. • Troubleshoot replication and authentication issues. Windows Server & Virtualization • Maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Nutanix AHV). • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integration and optimal system performance. • Automate tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting tools. Collaboration & Support • Provide Tier 3 support for incidents and service requests. • Document configurations, policies, and procedures. • Plan and execute projects like migrations and upgrades. • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery. • Stay current with industry trends and propose improvements. Qualifications Technical Expertise • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server (2013, 2016, 2019), Exchange Online, and Microsoft Teams. • Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO management. • Proficient in PowerShell scripting and task automation. • Familiarity with email security solutions such as Mimecast or Harmony. • Experience with backup and recovery tools like Rubrik. • Knowledge of MFA and identity management solutions. Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field — or equivalent professional experience. • Minimum of 5 years managing Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory in a large enterprise setting. • Experience supporting Office 365 / Exchange Online environments.
