Job purpose: Background: In a rapidly growing, 100-person company, we are a team of 4 Developers, 2 QA engineers, 2 IT admins, and a PM. We work closely with stakeholders to provide technology solutions for business objectives. 90% of our development is in .Net and 10% in Angular. Our back end for data is MS SQL Server. We are currently creating new web applications, services, and APIs in .NET 5+ as well as maintaining and upgrading legacy Framework based systems to newer platforms. While all recent and new development is written in C#, some of our key legacy projects were written in VB.Net and are being migrated to C# as possible. We are about 3 years in using Azure DevOps for Agile, Scrum based team planning and sprints. We have recently migrated all of our source and build processes to ADO as well while working towards full CI and eventually CD. We are newly engaged in mobile development using Apache Cordova in conjunction with our existing Angular site to produce both IOS and Android apps and are mapping out our next 1-2 years' worth of features for those apps. Our entire company is a strong practitioner of EOS "Traction" with a mature VTO, Quarterly Rocks, weekly Level10 meetings for all departments, etc. Duties and responsibilities • Collaborate, contribute, and be productive in a small team environment with lots of autonomy; a motivated, self-starter. • Work with the PM and stakeholders to understand needs and requirements and deliver solutions. • Create and maintain both .Net Framework and .Net web applications, services, and APIs for internal and external use. • Build processes and services that connect internal processes and partners. • Identify issues, propose and contribute solutions, and resolve them, a fearless problem solver. • Be comfortable operating in multiple environments: dev/qa/stage/production with best practices for each. • Handle both new blue-sky development as well as maintain existing systems while looking for opportunities to improve them. • Be able to learn and become productive with new tools and technologies as needed.
