This role involves the architecture, deployment, integration, migration, and upgrades of IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of various cloud platforms, Unix/Linux systems, middleware applications, and process automation. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Automation Assist with automation of infrastructure provisioning, operation, and compliance using tools such as Terraform, Red Hat Ansible Tower/Engine, Puppet, and CloudFormation (IAC). CI/CD Process Automation Automate the code build/deployment process using Jenkins, Atlassian tools (Bamboo, Jira, Fisheye), Maven, fabric, GitLab, GitHub, and scripts to enable continuous build/deployment environments. Migration Projects Oversee the migration of Sybase ASE 15 from Solaris servers to RHEL7, as well as other similar migration projects. System Design & Performance Analysis Conduct project planning, architectural analysis, performance test planning, scalability, reliability, and operational analysis and provide recommendations for critical business applications. Disaster Recovery Enhance and automate the disaster recovery process for business-critical applications using complex Ansible workflow orchestration. Team Support & Training Support and train system engineers and system administrators on infrastructure operations and best practices. Performance Monitoring & Optimization Monitor and analyze the performance of applications and systems to ensure objectives and availability requirements are met or exceeded using performance monitoring tools. KPI & KRI Reporting Prepare and present monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for infrastructure operations. Application Deployment Install and deploy different versions of updates on middleware applications such as JBoss, Tomcat, and IBM WebSphere. Qualifications Qualifications Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and operations. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust at Minimum. Technical Skills Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, OpenShift, RHEL versions 7 to 9, Windows (2008/2012), ESX/ESXi 6.x, 7.x, and middleware applications (WebSphere Application Server, Message Queue, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache).
