Job Title: Senior System Administrator Location: Local to Raleigh, NC Consultant Pay Rate: $42/hr on W2 (All Inclusive) Position Overview The primary responsibility is to maintain the organization on-prem and cloud infrastructure. This role involves maintaining cloud environments and on-prem servers while ensuring their optimal performance, security, and compliance. The System Administrator collaborates with IT teams to develop and implement cloud strategies, deploys and troubleshoots services, and provides technical support to end users. Additionally, they monitor resource utilization, patching servers, and stay updated with advancements in technologies to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Education: High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 3-5 years of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: • Minimum 3 years of System Administrator experience. • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure. • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft 365. • Minimum 3 years of experience managing Azure Virtual Machines. • Minimum 3 years of experience with Nutanix. • Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining and patching Microsoft Windows VMs. • Minimum 3 years of experience in assisting with implementing security measures and monitor access to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations • Minimum 3 years of experience in set up and maintain cloud servers, applications, and services, resolving any issues that arise. • Minimum 3 years of experience in monitor and manage the efficient use of cloud resources, such as CPU, memory, and storage. • Minimum 3 years of experience in identify and mitigate potential threats, system vulnerabilities. • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintain acceptable configurations and identify deviations. • Minimum 3 years of experience in manage other special divisional projects and initiatives as assigned. • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing virtual machines including vulnerability and patch management. • Minimum 3 years of experience in provide timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks. intrusions anomalous activities, and misuse activities.
