Position Description (Abstract): As part of Tigunia’s Business Intelligence Team, the Engagement Lead & Reporting Specialist plays a pivotal role in helping clients unlock the full potential of their data. This position blends technical expertise with client-facing leadership, focusing on the development of impactful reports and dashboards, the definition of KPI and data warehouse specifications, and the delivery of consultative support across a variety of industries. Success in this role requires a strong foundation in data visualization, a deep understanding of Business Central data structures, and the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights. You’ll work directly with clients to guide their BI strategy, troubleshoot data issues, and empower their teams to become confident, independent users of their own analytics tools. Key Responsibilities: • Lead client engagements, translating business needs into actionable BI solutions • Gather and document reporting requirements and KPI definitions • Design and develop reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Jet Reports • Define specifications for data warehouse models and KPI frameworks • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and communicate findings clearly to clients • Train and empower client teams to become self-sufficient BI users • Help clients become power users of their own data • Maintain documentation and adhere to naming conventions for scalable support Ideal Candidate Profile: • Strong communicator with a consultative mindset and client-first approach • Thrives in client-facing environments • Passionate about data storytelling and business impact through reporting • Excels in data visualization and reporting • Experienced in navigating complex data environments and security models • Has a strong understanding of Business Central table structures and related data warehouse models • Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Comfortable balancing multiple client priorities and deadlines Required Skills & Experience: • 4+ years of experience in BI reporting and client engagement • Experience with Business Central data structures and warehouse modeling • Competence in SQL for querying and data analysis • Competence in DAX for reporting and KPI development. • Strong, demonstrable experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Jet Reports platforms • Familiarity with tools such as Jet Analytics, Mage.AI, dbt, and/or Microsoft Fabric • Expertise in data visualization development and best practices. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
