Azure Data Engineer job at MBS Pro Staffing. Dayton, OH. Job Description Job Description MBS is in urgent need of an Azure Data Engineer. This position is a remote full-time, temp to hire opportunity. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Spark, and Python. • Work with Data Lakes to store, process, and analyze large datasets efficiently. • Implement and optimize Azure Fabric for seamless data integration and processing. • Develop Azure Semantic Models and implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies for enhanced data search capabilities. • Create SQL-based cubes for data analysis, aggregation, and reporting. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of data solutions. • Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows and ensure adherence to best practices in performance and security. REQUIREMENTS • Strong experience with Azure Databricks and Data Lakes. • Proficiency in PySpark, Spark, and Python. • Solid knowledge of Azure Fabric, Azure Semantic Models, and Search Engine Optimization. • Experience working with SQL and SQL-based cubes for reporting and analysis. • Ability to work with large-scale datasets and implement data-driven solutions efficiently. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work in fast-paced environment. • Ability to move or lift up to 25lbs. • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time • Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel. • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination. • Communication skills.
