Our client is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Administrator to manage and maintain their critical IT infrastructure. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US. You will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our global network. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network solutions, monitoring network traffic, and proactively identifying potential issues. You will also be involved in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and implementing network security best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure. Monitor network performance, availability, and security, and troubleshoot issues proactively. Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Develop and implement network security policies and procedures. Manage VPN connectivity and ensure secure remote access for employees. Perform regular network audits and performance tuning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application and system deployments. Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation. Participate in on-call rotation for network emergencies. Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience in network administration and engineering. Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware. Proficiency in network security technologies (e.g., Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs). Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE) are a plus.
