Visa Requirements: OPT/STEM-OPT and EAD Holders Only Job Title: Data Engineer / Data Analyst Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract (12 Months) Visa Requirements: OPT and EAD Holders Only Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer / Data Analyst to join our team on a 12-month W2 contract based in Dallas, TX . The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, hands-on experience with data pipelines and reporting, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines. Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support business decision-making. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration tasks. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to support data initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or data analysis roles. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Experience with ETL tools and processes. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI , Tableau , or similar. Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Python or R . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Nice to Have: Experience working in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery. Experience in Agile environments.
