Director of Cybersecurity Architecture, Engineering, and Network Security • Ashley Furniture Industries seeks a highly technical, hands-on leader to oversee and innovate all aspects of global cybersecurity architecture. • In this critical role, you’ll architect and implement comprehensive security frameworks spanning cloud, network, data, operational technology, manufacturing, and AI environments assuring the protection of our diverse, multi-industry operations worldwide. Key Contributions: • Direct the full lifecycle of security architecture: from strategy and roadmap development to hands-on design, technical implementation, and ongoing optimization across all technology platforms. • Own and enforce security architecture standards, design patterns, and guidance for every technology domain—cloud, infrastructure, network, endpoint, application, AI, and OT environments. • Lead the evaluation, deployment, and integration of cutting-edge security technologies for Zero Trust, cloud, network, data, and AI/ML protection. • Guide technical teams globally and be deeply involved in technical solutioning, threat modeling, and architecture reviews. • Collaborate across IT, engineering, DevSecOps, operations, and business leaders to embed “security by design” everywhere. • Oversee alignment with compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements for all cybersecurity architecture. Who We’re Looking For: • 12+ years of progressive experience in hands-on cybersecurity architecture or engineering, including direct Zero Trust implementation across large, global enterprises. • Track record architecting security for all technology domains—cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), network, endpoint, OT, manufacturing, and AI/ML platforms. • Deep current expertise with security technologies: micro-segmentation, cloud security, infrastructure-as-code, identity and access management, data protection, threat modeling, and secure SDLC. • Experience leading global, cross-functional security teams and communicating complex architectures to both technical staff and business executives. • Advanced technical certifications (CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, etc.), and a bachelor’s (master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or related technical discipline. • Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a passion for driving security innovation at scale.
