Principal Software Engineering Manager - Azure Storage Overview Are you excited about leading a high-performance team working on one of the largest Object Storage services in the world? The Azure Storage team is responsible for building, managing, and operating cloud storage for Microsoft Azure. The team handles distributed systems scaling to exabytes of storage across data centers worldwide. Azure Storage provides the persistent storage layer powering millions of Azure virtual machines, storing billions of photos, hours of video, and petabytes of other data types. You will work on the forefront of distributed systems and high-scale storage, tackling challenges associated with large-scale, rapid growth, and innovation. You will lead a talented, collaborative team responsible for engineering the foundational layers of Azure storage services. This role offers an opportunity to deepen your expertise in distributed systems and storage internals, contributing to the infrastructure for Blob storage.
