***ABSOLUTELY NO C2C- GC (of 3+ years) or USC ONLY Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (5 Days Onsite) Duration: Contract-to-Hire Pay Range: $90-$97/hr • **ABSOLUTELY NO C2C- GC (of 3+ years) or USC ONLY About the Role" We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud solutions. This is a hands-on consulting and architecture role requiring deep expertise across all Azure platforms and services. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Infrastructure, Networking, and InfraOps, with the ability to architect and build secure, scalable environments independently. This position requires a balance of technical leadership, architectural vision, and hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and deployment of Azure cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. • Build, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade Azure environments with minimal oversight. • Collaborate with leadership, architects, and engineering teams to define and implement technical strategies. • Serve as a technical mentor and leader within the cloud architecture team. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated and consistent deployments. • Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives, leveraging Azure best practices and governance frameworks. • Ensure all cloud solutions meet security, compliance, and operational standards. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience working in an architect-level capacity in cloud or infrastructure environments. • Extensive hands-on Azure experience (minimum 5 years, ideally 10+) across all major Azure services and platforms. • Strong Networking, Platform, and Infrastructure Operations (InfraOps) expertise. • Proven ability to independently design and implement complex Azure environments. • Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies. • Strong knowledge of Azure governance, security, and compliance principles. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both executive stakeholders and technical teams. • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to guide technical discussions and decisions. Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft Azure certifications (Architect Expert, Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer, etc.). • Experience with government-level or regulated security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA HIGH). • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture, networking, and security integrations. • Experience leading large-scale cloud modernization or migration initiatives.
