MVK TECH is seeking an M365 Acceleration Support Specialist to provide expert support for Outlook, OneDrive, and other collaboration tools. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Plano, TX/ Penninton, NJ 12 months contract, potential extension up to 3years About their work/products they support: • They are 85% outlook related tickets so that experience will always be needed. Then they also have SharePoint, WebEx, Skype, Symphony, Mattermost, Intralink, etc. They also now support Onedrive, Chat, and Teams and this is is a new area that his team doesn't have a ton of experience in so the new contractors they hire will definitely need Teams, Chat OneDrive experience. These contractors are going to need to help with the core work (85% outlook) and then the team will also lean on them for their One Drive experience. Additional notes: • The manager likes self starters who can take the work and run with it. He should be able to teach them the ticketing tool and then "nudge them out of the nest" • About his management style: believes in strong work life balance, "I will treat you as an adult until you show me otherwise". They use a sharepoint site to keep time off - expect a note sent out when going on PTO, communication is key (if you have to step out, that is totally fine but ping him and let him know and then ping him when back) Position Summary: Maintains and supports the enterprise Messaging and Collaboration infrastructure specifically with client support on a large-scale multi-site, multi-domain environment. Responsible for Messaging and Collaboration supported applications to include Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, web conferencing (WebEx), Instant Messaging (Lync/Skype, Group Chat) as major focus. Manages the integration of email with other systems such as mobile device and other unified communication technologies. • Administers the Messaging and Collaboration user accounts in the enterprise by creating user ids, effecting username changes and moves, maintaining group lists, and removing terminated user ids (must adhere to regulatory requirements when needed) • Assumes the leadership role in the resolution of complex technical issues (SME) • Consults with application developers on issues related to the impact of applications • Coordinates with application developers and project managers to deploy worldwide enterprise solutions/applications (tasks to include but not limited to testing and documentation) • Provides technical expertise to internal IT groups and provide feedback and recommendations to management for service level and environment optimization • Protects the overall security of the messaging environment through the administration of access control lists, security measures and certification of external organizations • Provides training to users, junior technicians, and other IT personnel Required Skills: • Outlook MS-365 • Microsoft One Drive • SharePoint administration • WebEx • Skype • Active Directory, working knowledge of • Microsoft Exchange • One drive • MS Teams • Familiarity with PowerShell usage • Proficient in viewing Splunk Dashboards and engaging corrective activities • Knowledge of current windows operating systems. • Excellent written and oral communications skills with a focus on providing quality customer service • Ability to work with minimal direction and manage multiple task Desired Skills • Automation skills to reduce manual activities • Proven team player who can work comfortably in a multicultural environment • Proven ability to work independently, multi task and effectively work in a complex environment with a global team structure • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong influencer, facilitator, and collaborator. • Detail oriented and organized • Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, results driven with attention to detail • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills • Motivation to achieve results and the ability to quickly integrate into teams Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Relocation assistance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift Work Location: In person
