Job Responsibilities + Establishes and implements appropriate standards and criteria for data security requirements + Design, develop, deploy and manage enterprise data security solutions including data loss prevention (DLP), data encryption, cloud data protection, as well as data security governance and compliance + In-depth understanding of DLP, Data Discovery, Classification, Encryption, Masking, Tagging and Governance + Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential data security threats, including third party cyber risk assessment + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data protection measures and best practices + Provide expert guidance on data privacy management and risk mitigation techniques + Ensure KPIs related to data security are accurately tracked and reported + Monitor and respond to data security incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed + Regularly review data security policies and standards. Provide input and recommendations to address enhancements and adapt to changing regulations and industry best practices + Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams This position is part of a job family (Senior IT Cybersecurity Analyst, Principal IT Cybersecurity Analyst), where experience is the determining factor. Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information technology, computer information systems, MIS, or engineering is preferred. A combination of associate degree, military or professional cybersecurity experience and cybersecurity certification (CISSP, GAIC, MCSE, CEH, GICSP, CSSA, CISM) will be considered. + 5+ years in cyber security + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Principal Cybersecurity Analyst + Minimum of 8 years in a cybersecurity role and experience in an occupation requiring project leadership with a wide range of experiences. A strong technical understanding of cybersecurity practices and strong analytical skills is also required + Bachelor’s degree required. It is preferred the degree is in computer science, information systems or similar field.
