ask Description The Application Developer will play a key role in the operation and support of the MRAS North America RI P&C applications. The role will report to the Manager of Subsection Business Solutions RI P&C - North America and be a key technology support partner in developing Power Platform based solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring products are developed and maintained in order to deliver high quality results based on industry and Munich Re standard solutions and are aligned to risk and compliance requirements. Job Responsibilities: • Host, extend and maintain the Microsoft Power Platform • Identify and implement business requirements • Incorporate technologic solutions with business related processes • Consult and implement customized digital solutions • Provide support and solutions for all phase of the digitalization life cycle • Strong interaction with business department Required working experience & education Qualifications and Experience: • University degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, technical discipline or IT-related technical work experience • Several years of experience in IT application development and hence in-depth knowledge of the entire software development and product life cycle • Well organized with a good ability to analyze situations, diagnose problems, identify the key issues, establish and weigh up alternative courses of action and produce a logical, practical and acceptable solution. Required Skills and qualifications Technical Must have • Experienced with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Copilot Studio, et..) • Experience in creating custom connections in Power Platforms • Experience configuring Dataverse and Security Roles • Experienced with Canvas App and Model-driven App development • Experienced with implementing and configuring the Power Platform CoE Kit • General programming skills (incl. object orientation) • The will and ability to learn and adopt new technologies and programming languages • Insights into maintenance topics like version control, automated deployment; automated testing, etc. • Experienced with usage and design of databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo DB, Cosmos DB) • Configuring Dataverse and Security Roles. • Basic knowledge about SSO technologies (e.g. NTLM, Kerberos, OAuth, …) • Interested in advanced/innovative technologies like R / Python / Machine Learning / AI / Chat Bots / Virtual Assistants / Robotics • Possesses PL200 (Power Platform App Maker) or PL400 (Power Platform Developer) certifications Technical Nice to have • Experience with the following technology is a plus: • Visual Studio • .Net Core • .Net Framework • Rest API • Azure Experience • Typescript • Javascript • Entity Framework Personal Must have • Collaborative working style, creating a culture of accountability and sharing • Ability to function as a member of a technology team, willing to contribute in any capacity required to achieve success. • A high degree of commitment and the willingness and ability to master the various tasks • Adaptive interpersonal, communicative and consultative skills to function across all levels, communicating with peers, business clients, and IT management.
