Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Automation Specialist who has a passion for streamlining processes and enhancing application delivery. This role requires a solid background in OpenShift and will involve collaborating with various teams to drive innovation and efficiency. Key Qualifications: • 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps or Automation Engineering. • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is highly desirable. • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. • Hands-on expertise with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform. • Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins), GitOps, and automated deployment pipelines. • Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, along with Docker for containerization. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and experience in hybrid/multi-cloud setups. Primary Responsibilities: • Manage, configure, and automate OpenShift environments for effective application deployments. • Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications within the OpenShift framework. • Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of the OpenShift platform. • Optimize and scale OpenShift clusters to enhance performance and operational efficiency. • Maintain comprehensive system configuration documentation and industry best practices. • Provide ongoing technical support and guidance on OpenShift best practices. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends related to OpenShift and Kubernetes. • Implement security measures to safeguard applications and infrastructure, ensuring a secure deployment environment.
