Senior Application Developer (Full-Stack | .NET Core | AWS) Onsite in Cary, NC Contract with CDW – 6 months W2 only, no Corp to Corp. CDW is in a hiring sprint and moving full speed to scale our technology team! If you're a hands-on Senior Application Developer with a strong background in cloud-based, full-stack development using Microsoft technologies and AWS, we want to hear from you. As a Senior Application Developer, you will build and support enterprise-grade applications for our Mortgage Servicing platform. Your work will directly impact the future of our cloud-based solutions by creating scalable, reliable, and maintainable code. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications using modern Microsoft and cloud technologies (.NET, .NET Core 6/8, C#, AWS) • Utilize front-end skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks for dynamic, responsive user interfaces • Implement microservices and cloud-native services using AWS (EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Containers, API Gateway) • Write clean, scalable code, perform unit testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) • Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver business functionality iteratively and incrementally • Manage small to mid-sized projects independently and contribute to larger project teams • Provide post-deployment support and troubleshoot live production issues • Create and maintain application documentation and technical specifications • Use AI-based coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance development speed and accuracy Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience • 7+ years of full-stack application development experience • Proficiency in .NET Core (v8 preferred, v6 acceptable), C#, SQL, and web services • Solid experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) • Strong knowledge of design patterns, refactoring practices, and test-driven development • Demonstrated experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern libraries • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) and working in iterative delivery cycles • Familiarity with Linux and open-source software tools is a plus • Financial services or mortgage industry experience highly desirable • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer) Preferred Experience: • AWS cloud environment: EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Containers, API Gateway • Experience with SSIS and enterprise-level integrations • Functional programming concepts • Deep understanding of scalable architectures and CI/CD pipelines CDW offers a robust suite of benefits to our W2 Contract Staff.
