Interview Mode : Phone+ Video Job Description : Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior O365 Exchange Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and administering Microsoft Exchange Online (O365), on-premise Exchange environments, and hybrid Exchange setups. This role requires strong technical expertise in messaging, collaboration tools, and enterprise email systems, with a focus on performance, reliability, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and support Microsoft Exchange Online (Office 365), including hybrid Exchange environments. • Manage the lifecycle of mailboxes, distribution groups, public folders, and shared mailboxes. • Configure and maintain email security, including anti-spam, anti-malware, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies. • Monitor and troubleshoot mail flow issues, ensuring high availability and performance. • Perform migrations from on-prem Exchange to Exchange Online, including planning and execution. • Maintain Exchange-related DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and support email deliverability. • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting. • Collaborate with IT Security to ensure compliance with enterprise policies and industry standards. • Provide Tier 3 support for messaging-related incidents and service requests. • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. • Stay current with Microsoft technologies, features, and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Exchange administration (including Exchange Online and Exchange Server 2013/2016/2019). • Strong knowledge of Office 365 suite, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 security/compliance features. • Experience with hybrid Exchange environments and Exchange Online migrations (Cutover, Staged, Hybrid). • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management. • Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, SMTP, as they relate to email systems. • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and other O365 services is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Certifications: • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate • ITIL Foundation or similar framework understanding is a plus.
