### Description • *TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Azure Sr. Systems Administrator to join our team. This position is expected to be remote and qualified candidates across the US are encouraged to apply.** • * ** • *Job Description: **The Azure Sr. Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting, managing and optimizing our Azure-based infrastructure, while working closely with team members across various departments. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates well and maintains a positive, solutions-focused attitude. • *Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.** - Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networking, Entra and on prem AD, backups). - Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring high levels of uptime and security. - Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud-based and hybrid solutions. - Maintain documentation and system records. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Adapt to shifting priorities, changing deadlines, and emerging business needs. - Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Azure-related issues. - Participate in planning and executing system upgrades and changes. • *Education:** Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. ### **Required Skills & Experience: ** - 5 to 10 years of experience as an Azure Administrator. - Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure management. - Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and security within Azure environments. - Experience with scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and system management. - Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premises + Azure) is a plus. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a changing environment. - Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team-oriented mindset. - Clear, confident communication and a positive, proactive attitude. ### **Desired Skills: ** - Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303/304). - Experience working independently with small teams and shared responsibilities. - Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integration and administration. • *Salary Range:** Up to $100,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience. ### **Why Join Us?** - Opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-moving team environment. - Flexible work culture where your contributions are visible and impactful. - Supportive team with a focus on personal and professional growth.
