Sr. Software Engineer Direct Hire position in Manhattan NYC// HYBRID Title: Sr. Software Engineer Location; Manhattan NY HYBRID 3DO/2 DR Job type: Direct Hire Video + Inperson final round interview Salary : $110k -140k/annum + benefits Position Overview Our independent investment bank client focused on delivering high-quality investment ideas and investment banking services to institutional investors and corporate clients. We offer fixed income sales, trading and strategy, investment banking, and loan facilitation products and services. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for the fixed income security and portfolio platform. The role will primarily focus on integration work rather than developing a trading system, as the firm already uses an off-the-shelf trading platform. Developers will be responsible for integrating with Bloomberg, handling repo back-office operations, and managing trade feeds. Additionally, the role includes supporting existing applications and developing a robust, in-house CRM system, which will also integrate with Bloomberg and other data feeds Job Responsibilities: • Designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications • Lead software development projects, managing timelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software • Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices • Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions • Contribute to architectural decisions, technology choices, and overall software strategy Required Experience/Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science • 5-10 years of software development experience • C# • Full stack development • ASP.NET Core MVC/Webforms • .NET 9/.Net Framework 4.8 • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery or equivalent • Microsoft SQL Server - Database design, T-SQL, Writing Store Procedures • RESTful Services • Full software development life cycle (SDLC) • Multithreading Recommended Skills That Will Help You Excel: • Azure DevOps/GIT • Atlassian Jira/Confluence • Entity Framework Core and/or EF6 is a plus • Financial knowledge Benefits & What We Offer: • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • Employee assistance program • Flexible spending account • Life and AD&D Insurance • Disability Insurance • Paid time off
