Senior Software Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes) Boston, MA (Hybrid Remote) We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure, enabling our teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Architect, implement, and manage cloud solutions on Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated, consistent, and reproducible deployments. • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in production environments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver cloud infrastructure that meets business needs. • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources using DevOps tools and best practices. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data protection standards. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders. • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Proven hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. • Advanced proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation and management. • Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments. • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert). • HashiCorp Terraform certification. • Experience with cloud-native monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus). • Exposure to additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
