Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and modern data architecture patterns. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in designing and building scalable, metadata-driven data platforms and frameworks that power advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions. You will be instrumental in architecting and implementing robust data solutions across data lakes, lakehouse, and warehouses, leveraging event-driven architectures, delta tables, and notebooks. Your work will directly support enterprise-wide data initiatives, including real-time ingestion, transformation, and consumption pipelines. Required Qualifications • 7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or architecture roles. • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake components. • Proven expertise in building metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and event-driven architectures. • Proficiency in PyScript, Python, Spark, and SQL. • Experience with Delta Lake, Databricks, and Snowflake. • Familiarity with Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Factory. • Experience with the creation of logical and physical data models, including creation of both star and snowflake schemas. • Exposure to AI/ML workflows, including feature engineering and model deployment pipelines. • Experience with Azure Purview for data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
