The Senior Application Developer reports to the Application Development Manager and leads custom web development within Affinity. The team builds enterprise-grade Microsoft-based applications, guided by experienced managers who promote modern development practices and collaboration. The role involves maintaining and enhancing existing systems, identifying process improvements, and analyzing business needs to define system scope. The developer also supports acquired applications, ensuring smooth integration into the enterprise platform for long term sustainability. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field • 5 or more years of related experience, including the following: o Microsoft .Net with C# - MVC, Web API o PHP & Laravel - Web applications o CMS - Umbraco & WordPress o ORM libraries - EF Core, Dapper, Eloquent o Frontend libraries - jQuery, React, Angular, Bootstrap, CSS o Relational database experience, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL o Clean Architecture, N-Layer architecture. o Design patterns and SOLID principles o Azure DevOps - Azure Git, Build & release Pipeline • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and beyond • Experience with tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI for testing and documentation • Experience with agile software development methodologies • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
