Java Architect w /Azure ( Hybrid) About Cognizant's Digital Engineering Practice: At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. The Role: Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Java Architect w /Azure to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the "team", drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions. Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Location: Chicago, IL Roles and Responsibilities • 15+ years proven IT experience with at least 5+ years of solid hands-on experience in architecting cloud solutions, including design and deployment of workloads on Microsoft Azure. • Extensive experience with implementing solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. • Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools, defining migration roadmaps as well as integration patterns and technologies. • Proficiency in cloud infrastructures with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud resources using Azure in enterprise-wide environments • Sound knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and secure networking • Experience with IaC using Terraform with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions • Experience in Azure Infrastructure, Networks, Storage, Apps and Azure DevOps • Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Virtual Networks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery • Experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications using Azure PaaS Capabilities involving App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure Functions, Containers, Azure Container Apps, AKS • Experience in Integration Technologies such as IPaaS, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid • Experience with IAM, Authentication and Authorization of applications using Azure AD , OAuth, (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA and RBAC • 15+ years of hand on experience as Spring, Spring Framework, Spring Boot. And should worked on the Microservices, MQ and Solace. • Hands on knowledge in Java/J2ee concepts, Should have hands on experience in Spring boot, Spring Rest service, Spring security , JMS and security. • Hands on knowledge in Spring Cloud, Microsoft Azure cloud, Queues (MQ and Solace). • Hands on knowledge in React/Angular and knowledge on Asynchronous Messaging. • Should have knowledge on Spring Integration, Azure and Devops. • Should have very good communication skills. Key Qualifications: • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (MUST) • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (PREFERRED) Applications will be accepted until 12/18/2024. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $102,600K - $162,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
