Job Description: As a Windows Active Directory Identity Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and administering both Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory for users and computers. You will also oversee SMB network scanning, Windows File Server management, and ensure folder and share security. This role requires technical expertise in identity administration, secure access management, and scripting to optimize workflows. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and analyze Help Desk requests, perform triage, provide second-tier resolution, or escalate issues as needed. • Create and manage DHCP reservation records using Microsoft DHCP Server. • Administer secure user access to Active Directory and Azure shared resources, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, CJIS, PCI, FTI, and FERPA. • Utilize PowerShell and Graph scripts to optimize workflows and increase operational efficiency. • Perform file recovery using Volume Shadow Services and backup software, guiding users on cloud file and email self-service recovery. • Develop, maintain, and follow documentation for processes, procedures, and standards, contributing to workflow and process improvements. • Collaborate with technicians from other divisions and bureaus to provide solutions and support. • Manage Windows File Server operations, including folder and share security settings, and oversee SMB network scanning. • Ensure compliance with all established client and State policies, standards, and procedures. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: • Extensive experience with Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory identity administration. • Proficiency in managing SMB network scanning, Windows File Server management, and folder/share security. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft DHCP Server for creating and managing DHCP reservation records. • Experience with secure access administration compliant with HIPAA, CJIS, PCI, FTI, FERPA, and similar regulations. • Advanced skills in PowerShell and Graph scripting for automation and optimization. • Expertise in file recovery with Volume Shadow Services and familiarity with backup software solutions. • Strong documentation skills and ability to develop and maintain process standards. • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. • Adherence to established IT policies and standards.
