Job Title: System Administrator Location: Baton Rouge, LA Duration: 3+ Years (Long-Term Contract) Position Overview We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to support and maintain photogrammetric, CADD, GIS, and engineering design applications within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Bentley ProjectWise, MicroStation, and related systems, as well as a strong technical background in software support, workstation management, and system integration. Key Responsibilities Photogrammetric Applications • Provide first-line technical and desk-side support for client configurations, upgrades, and application troubleshooting. • Collaborate with software vendors and internal teams for issue resolution. • Supported applications may include ImageStation Orthopro, Stereo Display, Feature Collection, DTM Collection, and related tools. Raster and CADD / Engineering Design Applications • Install, configure, and support CADD and raster applications such as Bentley Descartes, ArcGIS, MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, and Bluebeam. • Assist users with application setup, updates, and troubleshooting. Engineering Project Management & Plotter Systems • Provide user support for Bentley ProjectWise and Interplot systems, including configuration and integration assistance. • Maintain and support large-format plotters, printers, and scanners. Licensing and Software Management • Maintain and track software licenses for engineering and CADD-related applications. • Coordinate with vendors for license renewals and technical support as needed. GIS Support • Support ESRI ArcGIS and Global Mapper configurations, upgrades, and client-side issues. Desktop & Workstation Support • Provide second-level support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products. • Manage CADD and engineering workstations, desktops, and laptops from major vendors (Lenovo, Dell, etc.). • Troubleshoot hardware, drivers, peripherals, and BIOS/software configurations. Project and System Support • Assist with workstation deployments, upgrades, and configuration planning. • Provide input on system requirements and assist in implementation of new technologies. Required Experience & Skills • 5+ years of experience with Bentley ProjectWise and MicroStation administration/support. • 5+ years supporting CADD/Engineering software such as InRoads, OpenRoads, Interplot, or similar. • 5+ years of desktop/workstation support in a networked environment. • Experience supporting large-format plotters, scanners, and related hardware. • Knowledge of software license management and multi-vendor software environments. • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and general IT support best practices. Preferred Certifications • Bentley Certifications (MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenRoads, or CADD Management). • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent. • CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certifications.
