The Database Administrator will manage and maintain the Salesforce database for the Work for Warriors NC program, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employment information for all clients. The role requires strong recordkeeping abilities, data manipulation skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information. The Database Administrator will also fulfill Employment Counselor duties as needed. Full-time, salary: $75,000+ • In addition to a resume, a cover letter must be submitted detaliing qualifications and experience relevant to this position to be considered for an interview. Key Responsibilities Database Management: • Provide Salesforce Database administration support. • Input new data and correct errors in current data for all WFWNC clients. • Ensure data coding is compatible with system requirements. • Implement mainframe policy and data code changes. Recordkeeping And Data Analysis: • Review, scan, and index records for all eligible members. • Extract and release information according to specific criteria and policies. • Prepare responses to questions from client departments on Salesforce data. • Maintain Salesforce files, audit for errors, and manage data file logs. Problem Resolution: • Resolve data inconsistencies and maintain effective communication with Government customers. • Develop solutions for automation contingency plans. • Access automated programs to identify areas for improvement. Reporting: • Produce bi-weekly/weekly Salesforce Database reports and analyze data. • Prepare monthly reports reflecting compliance with Army Command metrics. • Create slides with current metrics for briefings to G1, SSS Director, and COR. Confidentiality And Compliance: • Ensure strict confidentiality and authorized release of service member information. • Maintain and follow all regulations and guidance applicable to the program. Qualifications Education and Experience: • Two (2) years of experience in administrative database entry. • Demonstrated abilities in recordkeeping. • Ability to manipulate data to identify patterns and produce reports. • Ability to make judgments about sensitive/confidential information. Skills: • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software. • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and clients. Dual Role: • Fulfill Employment Counselor duties as needed. Reporting: • Share calendar with WFWNC Director and COR upon arrival. • Submit reports and analyses as required. Evaluation And Improvement: • Review After Action Reports to assess the effectiveness of database management. • Make recommendations for program improvements based on data analysis.
