Overview: We are seeking a high-performing Cloud Solutions Account Executive II to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. In this role, you will drive net-new customer acquisition and revenue growth by selling Microsoft Cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure), Cloud Support Services, Professional Services, legacy licensing, and third-party solutions. You will be responsible for building and managing your own pipeline, uncovering opportunities, and converting prospects into long-term customers through a consultative sales approach. This is a quota-carrying role with uncapped commission potential and clear earnings tied to your ability to hunt, qualify, and close deals. Responsibilities: • Own the full sales cycle: Prospect, qualify, develop, and close net-new business opportunities within SMB and mid-market accounts. • Meet and exceed quota targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals for recurring revenue (MRR) and one-time total contract value (TCV) across solution categories. • Prospect actively: Leverage outbound outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, events/webinars, and partner channels to develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads. • Consultative selling: Engage C-level executives, IT leaders, and decision-makers to understand business needs and position tailored Microsoft Cloud, Azure, and related solutions. • Pipeline management & forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline health, and provide timely, data-driven forecasts to leadership. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with technical architects, cloud specialists, and marketing to develop strategic account plans and deliver value-driven proposals. • Execute high-impact demos & presentations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proposals via Zoom or in-person meetings to win new logos. • Close & onboard: Ensure successful deal closure and smooth handoff to post-sales teams for implementation and customer success. • Stay current on cloud technologies: Maintain deep knowledge of Microsoft licensing, Azure services, and emerging third-party cloud solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves): • 3-4+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience (SaaS, IT solutions, or technology sales preferred). • Proven ability to prospect, build a pipeline, and consistently exceed quotas. • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills with experience presenting to C-level and IT stakeholders. • Excellent verbal, written, and virtual presentation skills. • Results-driven mindset with strong work ethic, resilience, and competitiveness. • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools. Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves): • Experience selling Microsoft 365, Azure, or related cloud solutions. • Familiarity with Microsoft licensing models (CSP, Legacy EA transitions) and cloud migration projects. • Exposure to selling Professional Services (migrations, cloud architecture, tenant optimization). • Previous success in net-new acquisition sales with an emphasis on prospecting and closing. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Performance & Earning Potential: This role offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions based on quota attainment across: • Recurring Revenue (MRR): Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, and Cloud Support Services. • One-Time TCV: Professional Services, legacy licensing, and third-party tools. First-year earnings potential: Aligned with an accelerated ramp quota (first 90 days), transitioning into full quota by Month 4.
