What You’ll Be Doing: As a Systems Administrator Tier 2, you’ll act as a key escalation point for advanced support requests, system improvements, and implementation tasks. You’ll work across a wide array of technologies including Azure, M365, firewalls, switches, and virtual environments—helping clients modernize and secure their IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Escalated support for Windows Server, Azure, M365, and networking-related issues. • Troubleshoot directory services, cloud-based apps, email, and authentication problems. • Manage change requests for firewall configs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. • Support and administer Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Intune, and VDI. • Maintain VMware and Hyper-V environments. • Configure Dell/SonicWall firewalls and manage Dell/NetGear/Aruba switches. • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on documentation and best practices. • Ensure security compliance and recommend infrastructure improvements. Must-Have Experience: • 1–7 years in a Tier 2 support role (MSP experience highly preferred). • Solid experience with Windows Server 2022, Azure, and Microsoft 365. • Familiarity with Azure Entra ID, Intune, and modern endpoint management. • Firewall, switch, VLAN, DNS, DHCP configuration experience. • Hands-on knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V). • Strong logical troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. Preferred: • Experience with VDI, remote desktop services, or cloud-hosted infra. • Strong networking experience (Dell, Aruba, NetGear switches). • Prior MSP experience with client-facing troubleshooting and escalation support.
