Skills / Experience Overall, 15 years of experience and 8+ years in Power BI with experience in working on at least 7+ Projects 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Fabric (Power BI) on at least 1 customer Project 7+ years of experience working on designing reporting solutions and experienced with Qlik Sense 8+ years of experience working with Business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver BI solutions 4+ years of experience working with ETL/ELT solutions using Databricks or ADF/Synapse at least 4 projects Leverage Generative AI tools and Copilots (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Fabric Copilot, M365 Copilot) to accelerate code development, enhance data insights and streamline documentation Applied Gen AI capabilities in tasks - pipeline generation, DAX, SQL authoring, metadata extraction and documentation automation Successfully led multiple Data Modernization initiatives leveraging Azure and Databricks Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and be open to receiving feedback on your own code Prior experience in working on Agile/Scrum projects with exposure to tools like Jira/Azure DevOps Secondary Skills Tableau, Azure DE, Databricks, PL 300 Certified Customer & Architecture Proven experience collaborating with Business & IT teams on requirement gathering and solution design; Experience preparing architecture blueprints; Independently created HLDs and LLDs for BI solutions including data models and reports Microsoft Fabric Hands-on experience building reporting solutions using Power BI on Microsoft Fabric; Good to have experience working with Fabric Copilots to accelerate data modeling, report generation; Worked with Direct Lake, OneLake, and Lakehouses to design and manage scalable data architectures; Built and orchestrated end-to-end data pipelines using Fabric Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks Power BI Strong expertise in Power BI Pro, Premium, and Paginated reports; Advanced use of DAX, Power Query, and M language; Proficient with Dataflows, Incremental Refresh, RLS, and Data Modeling; Led multiple report migrations from legacy BI platforms to Power BI Data Engineering/Modelling Hands-on experience working with ETL/ELT solutions using ADF or Synapse or SSIS or any other industry standard ETL/ELT Tools; Hands-on experience in designing Gold layer and data models for consumption by reports and downstream applications Well-architected Framework, Best design/coding practices Experience in working in a challenging environment with unclear requirements and contributing collaboratively with the team to refine the requirements Other Skills Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with team members Provides regular updates, proactive and due diligent to carry out responsibilities Communicate effectively with internal and customer stakeholders Communication approach: verbal, emails and instant messages Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer.
