SUMMARY: Creek Technologies is seeking an Information Technology Systems and Network Administrator responsible for administering all IT systems, communications assets, and services for the company. The accepted candidate implements and maintains our Domain Name Server, Windows, SharePoint (cloud), and Exchange servers (cloud), Network Attached Storage (NAS), cloud-based storage, our PBX and VoIP system, switches, routers, wireless devices, user computers, printers, and wired security system. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading, patching, and monitoring software and hardware. The Systems Administrator will maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, webservers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems • Make recommendations for future upgrades • Deploy and maintain network and system security, including endpoint management using Microsoft Intune (Azure Intune) • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues • Monitor networks to ensure security, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance • Evaluate and modify system performance • Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity and access management • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations • Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates, and patches using modern endpoint management solutions including Azure Intune • Maintain accountability of all IT and Communications assets • Assist in the processes of selecting security controls, implementing security controls from NIST SP 800-53, and implementing continuous monitoring of security controls to obtain and maintain an Authorization to Operate under the Risk Management Framework (RMF), integrating Microsoft cloud compliance tools such as Purview Compliance Manager QUALIFICATIONS: • Specific experience with Microsoft Operating Systems Windows 10 & 11, Microsoft Server, and Microsoft 365 • Specific experience with Microsoft Hyper-V is a plus • Experience with LAN, switching, and routing • Security+ certification or equivalent • Active Directory Administration • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (Beginner) • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (Intune - Intermediate) • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator (Expert) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (Intermediate) • Networking: Network+ (Beginner) or CCNA (Cisco centric - Beginner) EDUCATION: Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or completion of IT related coursework at a technical school desired. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer technology, or relevant field, preferred.
