We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux Cloud Administrator to manage and support our hybrid cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Linux systems, cloud platforms (Azure and AWS), and automation tools. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our Linux-based environments across both cloud and on-premises data centers. Key Responsibilities • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) in hybrid cloud and data center setups • Manage and maintain Linux-based VMs and services hosted in Azure & AWS. • Configure and manage services like Apache/Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and DNS • Implement robust file sharing and storage solutions using NFS, Samba/SMB, SFTP and iSCSI. • Implement and manage infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation. • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools like Jira & Bitbucket. • Deploy and support containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). • Monitor system performance using Nagios, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc. • Ensure backup, patching, and security compliance across systems • Handle incident response and RCA for system and cloud-related issues • Enforce system security policies, manage firewalls, SSH access, and audit logs • Work closely with DevOps, security, and development teams to support CI/CD and cloud-native initiatives • Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and automation scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) Required Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration • Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure (certifications are a plus) • Familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) • Experience in networking concepts, firewalls, and VPNs • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) • Scripting skills: Bash, Python, or Shell • Understanding of ITIL processes, SLAs, and service management Education • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field • Should have Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) • Preferred: Azure Administrator Associate Additional Information • Pay: $90,000-100,000 • Schedule: EST/CST • Location: Remote • Anticipated start date: ASAP • Internet Speed Test: Download speed of 30MB or higher & upload speed of 10MB or higher are REQUIRED.
