Job description

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES - Design and implement cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, adhering to industry best practices and security standards - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions using tools like Terraform - Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates to optimize deployment, configuration, and monitoringImplement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security - Partner with development teams to streamline application deployments, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate efficient release processes - Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security controls, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures - Participate in capacity planning, scalability assessments, and cost optimization initiatives - Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members - Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance overall cloud infrastructure performance and reliability MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience - 3+ years of experience in a similar role (Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer) - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure services - Proficiency in Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools - Solid grasp of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline) - Deep understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, network security, data protection) - Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plusStrong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment - Ability to work outside of business hours as needed and be available by cell phone at all times - Collaborative, team player mentality - Must be able to work onsite Tue/Wed/Thu each week PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS - AWS or Azure certifications are a plus - Knowledge of Github, GitLab CI/CD preferred
