Senior Data Visualization Engineer We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Visualization Engineer to join our data analytics team. This role will focus on creating advanced Power BI visualizations, supporting Power BI infrastructure, and driving innovative data visualization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Power BI Development and Design Design and develop sophisticated Power BI reports and dashboards to transform complex data into meaningful insights. Design and develop complex semantic model using best practices of data modelling techniques. Design and implement various performance techniques to optimize the dashboards Create and manage enterprise-wide Power BI solutions, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency across visualizations. Implement advanced DAX calculations and measures to support in-depth data analysis. Data Analysis and Interpretation Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and outliers. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data context and create accurate representations of insights. Use statistical analysis techniques to derive meaningful conclusions from data. Infrastructure and Production Support Manage and optimize Power BI infrastructure, focusing on scalability and performance. Implement roles level security to manage infrastructure, workspaces and dashboards. Provide Level 3 production support for critical Power BI reports and dashboards. Troubleshoot complex issues and implement timely solutions. Innovation and Best Practices Evaluate and drive adoption of new Power BI features and technologies. Establish best practices for Power BI development, including design consistency and performance optimization. Train and mentor team members on advanced Power BI techniques. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or related field; master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions. Hands-on experience and expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service and Integrate Power BI with other platforms (e.g., Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint). Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing and ETL processes. Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization principles. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and their integration with Power BI. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Skills Power BI certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate). Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Looker). Knowledge of machine learning and AI technologies and their applications in business intelligence. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
