IT Systems / Network Administrator – MSP & PACs Specialist Location: Bozeman, MT Type: Full-Time About Us We’re a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Bozeman, MT, delivering high-quality IT support and infrastructure management to a diverse range of clients. Role Overview We’re seeking an experienced IT Systems / Network Administrator to join our higher-tier Help Desk / Escalation team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diving deep into technical issues, managing complex environments, and becoming a trusted expert for clients. In addition to core MSP responsibilities, this role will also serve as a PACs Administrator for one of our healthcare clients. You’ll undergo vendor-provided training to become a subject matter expert in their PACs (Picture Archiving and Communication System), supporting their imaging infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities · Act as an escalation point for advanced technical issues from the Help Desk team · Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune) · Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (AD, GPO, file/print services) · Support and maintain network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, WiFi) · Handle account management, permissions, and security policies · Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and client environment details · Collaborate directly with clients to resolve recurring issues and improve system reliability · Serve as PACs Administrator for a healthcare client, including: · - Completing vendor-led PACs training · - Becoming a subject matter expert in their PACs system · - Providing ongoing support and maintenance of the PACs environment Required Experience · 3+ years in an MSP or IT support environment · Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows desktops, servers, and Microsoft 365 · Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, WiFi) · Proven ability to resolve escalated issues efficiently · Excellent communication and customer service skills · Highly responsible, organized, and eager to grow Must-Haves · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills · Quick learner, resolution-oriented, and growth-minded · Excellent customer service skills (phone & email) · Self-starter who looks for ways to improve processes and services · High level of commitment and reliability ⚠ Important: Stability matters.
