Douglas Judicial Circuit IT Systems Administrator The District Attorney’s Office in the Douglas Judicial Circuit has an opening for an IT Systems Administrator. This position is responsible for technical work, responding to and resolving all network related questions and support issues. A major job function is to support and maintain the department’s Local Area Network and Wide Area Network. Skills required include the ability to trouble shoot, identify and resolve network problems. Position requires the ability to perform work independently within established policies and procedures. Create courtroom evidentiary presentations utilizing various software applications and audio/visual equipment. Access and duplicate visual and audio evidence received in a wide variety of forms and software applications from various outside agencies. Assist Attorneys in evaluating computer evidence. Responds to the needs and questions of users concerning their access of resources on the network including login & password information. Preferred Qualifications: Three years professional experience in Network Adminminstration and TCP/IP. Five years’ professional experience as a Systems Administrator or related field. Working knowledge of Windows Operating System and Apple in a network environment. Experience in the operation, repair and uses and capabilities of person and laptop computers, hardware peripherals, (printers, scanners, projectors, and other presentation equipment), wireless connections on laptop computers, and wide and local area networks. Experience with and ability to troubleshoot problems with Microsoft Office 0365, various media players, VPN. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with co-workers and other employees. Ability to instruct others in the operation of computer hardware and software.
