We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Business Insights and Analytics group to supporting the organization’s enterprise data systems, with a primary focus on modernizing and centralizing data architecture to enable scalable analytics and AI applications. Reporting to the VP of Business Insights and Analytics, this position will collaborate closely with teams across Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Technology to unify data from platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Adobe Experience Platform, and Power BI. The Data Engineer will play a key role in transforming fragmented data sources into a cohesive, AI-ready foundation that drives strategic insights, operational efficiency, and new revenue opportunities. This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. The scope of this position encompasses a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games. What You Will Do Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to assess current data architecture and identify opportunities for consolidation and optimization. Design and implement a centralized data model using a medallion architecture approach. Migrate and refactor existing semantic models in Power BI to upstream layers in Microsoft Fabric. Build and maintain Kafka topics and streaming pipelines to support real-time and near-real-time data ingestion. Integrate data from diverse platforms including D365 Commerce, D365 CRM, and Adobe Experience Platform (CDP, CJA, AJO, Target, AEM). Optimize data pipelines and storage solutions using Azure SQL DB, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft Fabric. Ensure data quality, governance, and lineage across the data lifecycle. Embedding data privacy, security, and compliance in all workflows. Build scalable, reusable data assets that serve as the foundation for AI/ML model development and advanced analytics. Collaborate with data team to ensure data readiness for training, reporting, and real-time decisioning. Support the development of documentation and best practices for AI-ready data architecture. Your Background, Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a focus on data architecture and pipeline development; 5 or more years of experience is ideal. Strong understanding of medallion architecture, lakehouse paradigms, and modern data modeling practices. Hands-on experience with Azure data services (SQL DB, PostgreSQL, Fabric). Familiarity with Power BI, including semantic models. Experience integrating data from D365 Commerce, D365 CRM, Adobe Experience Platform, Kafka, and other API based sources. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or PySpark for data transformation and orchestration. Experience preparing data for AI/ML applications. Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. High level of personal integrity and professional ethics. Effective decision-making skills while utilizing sound judgment. Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead projects from origin through execution. Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written. Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business. Compensation $130,000 - $160,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
