Akkodis is seeking a DevOps developer for a contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities include automating development and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines and managing scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform or Ansible. Rate Range: $49/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. DevOps developer job responsibilities include: • Automate development and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software releases. • Manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible for scalable and consistent environments. • Monitor system performance and optimize configurations using logging and monitoring tools to ensure high availability and scalability. • Collaborate across teams to align development and operations goals, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and improve workflows. • Implement security and compliance measures to safeguard applications and infrastructure, including conducting audits and risk mitigation. • Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and scripting languages (Python, Bash) to support DevOps automation and development tasks. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in DevOps, automation, and infrastructure management. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash, and expertise in Agile DevOps practices.
