We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on an IT Support Services contract. The Business analyst seeks, develops, and helps implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity. They coordinate and conduct requirements gathering, gather and analyzes data to identify problems, understand business needs, and propose data-driven solutions by collaborating with various stakeholders to improve systems and processes. This is a hybrid/remote position in Rockville, MD Job Requirements: • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance • Available to work Monday-Friday standard day hours • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand their needs, requirements, and expectations • Document and prioritize requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and actionable • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement • Use analytical tools and techniques to assess business performance and identify areas for optimization • Identify inefficiencies in business processes and recommend solutions • Develop and document process improvements, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives • Partner with engineers and management to design solutions that address business needs • Evaluate the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions • Assist in documentation and distribution of training materials Education and Experience: • 3+ years of experience in analytics and systems development • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 7+ years experience in similar based positions • Experience within scientific data or health care data desired • Understanding of databases, data modeling, and data warehousing required • Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and technologies necessary • Proficiency in SQL required • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio • Proven ability to manage projects and user testing • Extensive experience with data visualization • High proficiency in technical writing At INODE, we know that employees who are valued, involved, and both encouraged and supported to grow are what drives our success.
