Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join their Business Intelligence team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization within a fast-paced corporate environment. The role involves supporting senior analysts in extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from various sources to derive meaningful business insights. You will be exposed to a range of analytical tools and methodologies, contributing to critical business decisions. Responsibilities: Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preparation of data from disparate sources. Perform basic data analysis using statistical methods and tools. Help create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Support senior team members in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data. Learn and utilize business intelligence tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL). Contribute to ad-hoc data requests and analytical projects. Document data sources, methodologies, and findings. Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks. Participate in team meetings and present findings as appropriate. Develop a foundational understanding of business operations and how data supports them. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques. Familiarity with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for data manipulation and analysis. Exposure to SQL for database querying is a plus. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
