Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Architect job at GSP Companies. Orlando, FL. Job Summary: The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Architect is responsible for playing a significant role in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and supporting the complete Dynamics Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment. The D365 Technical Architect role defines strategies and best practices for accomplishing viable automated solutions for complex business processes. Position performs duties in a highly collaborative team environment. Duties and Responsibilities: • Design and implement workflows, reports, customizations, extensions, integrations, and data conversions for the D365 Finance and Supply Chain solution as part of a Software Development team. • Develop custom D365 application components based on user requirements when appropriate using .NET, X++, C#, C++ • Creates classes, tables, data entities, form extensions, extending data types and base enumerations, adding functionality to model elements and source code as needed to meet business requirements • Develop and modify D365 security roles • Manage and maintain system integrations to other internal and external systems. • Manage all code and repositories via Azure DevOps • Responsible for all code reviews, commitments, and deployments to lower environments via Azure DevOps and Microsoft Lifecycle Services • Responsible for reviewing all vendor code changes for accuracy, understanding and compliance • Leads software integration and maintains technical documentation • Collaborate with developers, integrators, and business partners for system enhancements/upgrades • Drives development and maintenance of code artifacts, technical communications, action plans, agendas, minutes, and correspondence • Ensures the development of optimized coding processes and system designs as needed, training others on best practices • Participate in production changes that may occur after 9:00PM or on weekends • Participate in internal and external audits and facilitate responses to quarterly audit requests • Create Analytical Reporting Solutions using Power BI and Excel, utilizing Multi-dimensional and tabular models • Support other developers with technical issues • Education and Experience: • 6+ years' experience as a functional SME working with Microsoft Dynamics platforms (preferred AX/F&O) • 3+ years' experience using X++ to implement extended Dynamics features and enhancements • Working knowledge of programming methodologies, structures, and concepts • Experience with the Azure suite (data lake, data factory, SQL data warehouse, etc.) • Experience with full life cycle Dynamics 365/AX implementations • Excellent communication and prioritization skills with attention to detail and quality • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Organize and execute Analysis, Design/configuration, Implementation & delivery phases of Dynamics 365 implementation • Working knowledge of Power BI development and modeling • Experience working in an Agile or SCRUM environment • Effectively communicates with others and has the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams. Must be a highly motivated, self-starter and capable of taking charge to produce results with minimal direction. Qualifications, Skills Abilities and Competencies: • Strong coding and design and architecture skills in Object-Oriented Programming • Proven track record developing commercial products in an Agile development environment • Must work well in a small development group and collaborate and work well with other departments including Product Management • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail • Advanced ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English • Proficiency with PC's to include knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), maintaining data bases, generating information and tracking status using proprietary software • Ability to produce detailed reports, particularly in Excel • Ability to build effective relationships • Ability to develop creative solutions to client and internal problems and challenges • Ability to contribute to building a strong and positive team spirit as well as align with GSP values #J-18808-Ljbffr
