Position Summary The Business Intelligence Developer will develop and maintain BI solutions helping to transform data into actionable insights. The role supports all aspects of business intelligence including ETL, data modeling, exploratory data analysis, explanatory data analysis, and end user training. The qualified candidate will need to reside within one hour of Franklin, TN. Job Responsibilities • Work with end users to resolve data and reporting issues. • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing BI platforms including data lake, pipelines, data models, dashboards, and reporting. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for BI solutions. • Ingest new data sources into existing Microsoft Fabric based data lake using pipelines and dataflows according to ETL best practices. • Develop interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI. • Ad hoc data analysis. • Assist with training and support to business users on company data and BI tools. • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all aspects of BI solutions. • Maintain and update documentation. Experience • 3+ years of professional BI or data engineering experience. • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and DAX • Strong knowledge of data modeling, star schemas, dimensional modeling, and the medallion architecture. • Experience with Delta Lake and Spark • Microsoft Fabric or Azure experience is a plus • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. • Ability to work across business functions. • Self-motivated and eager to learn
