Job Number: R0227889 Network Engineer, Mid The Opportunity: Critical objectives for the USMC include providing seamless post-deployment sof tware PKI support, managing hardware and sof tware components that provide certificate validation support, supporting USMC, c ond ucting RA operations, and providing PKI integration support for fielded systems and field technical support. This role entails providing 24x7 support worldwide from the garrison network out to deployed forces, both shipboard and ashore. This support is critical for certificate management, the security that PKI provides, and Tier III support for Public Key Enabling ( PKE ) networks and network resources. As new capab ilities and derived credentials for CMDs are delivered, the implementation of these capab ilities becomes a critical support task for USMC. You will significantly enhance our workforce knowledge with added training on capab ilities, ensuring we provide the right skills in the right place to meet today's challenges and achieve future operational success. You Have: • 1+ years of experience with Windows server administration and configuring and deploying Microsoft Group Policy Objects • Experience monitoring server, network, or database performance and latency • Experience with PowerShell scripting • Knowledge of security tools and methodologies, including Splunk, Solar Winds, ACAS, or Zero Trust Strategies • Knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on Windows or Linux • Knowledge of network or system migrations and systems or network security, auditing, and user authentication, including PKI or SAML • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time • Top Secret clearance • HS diploma or GED • Security+ certification Nice If You Have: • Experience with VMware vCloud Director • Experience with analyzing data across systems to improve design-making and optimize performance • Experience with drafting and updating technical stakeholder requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes • Experienced in supporting and configuring applications running on Azure cloud servers • Ability to work independently and as a dedicated team member • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology Clearance : Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
