My client is looking to hire a hands-on, commercially minded Head of AI/Data Consulting to lead their consulting division, advising global clients on AI strategy, tooling, and implementation. You will build and scale a high-impact team, own P&L, and help shape my client’s presence across the US and Europe. You will be joining a fast-growing, innovation-led firm helping to transform how organisations use AI and Data. This is a permanent role based in North Carolina. You will report directly to the Board and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Delivery teams to define our go-to-market strategy and expand my client’s global reach. Responsibilities include: • Build and lead a team of AI and Data Consultants, equipping them to advise clients on strategies, tooling, and implementation pathways. • Own the P&L for the AI/Data Consulting business unit, driving profitable growth and operational excellence. • Drive Client Engagement through strategic workshops, assessments, and executive advisory for senior stakeholders. • Shape Market Strategy by working closely with the CMO on campaigns and positioning to acquire new business in Europe and North America. • Report to the Board on consulting performance, market trends, and client feedback. • Champion the delivery of cutting-edge AI and Data Science solutions that are both commercially viable and technically robust. Skills and Experience include: • Proven Experience: 7+ years in senior roles within AI/Data functions at leading tech firms such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Meta, or similar firms of Consultancies. • Strategic Expertise: Deep understanding of AI, ML, Data Engineering, and Data Governance, with a hands-on advisory background. • Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with previous experience owning P&L, client relationships, and consulting outcomes. • Exceptional Communication: Confident presenter with the ability to translate complex data strategies into executive-level narratives. • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments and building functions from the ground up. • Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across Europe and the US as required.
