Position Summary: KVC is seeking a Developmental Disabilities (DD) Behavioral Health Clinician to support our Department of Developmental Disabilities. In this vital role, you will develop behavioral analysis documents and plans, conduct assessments, and provide recommendations to help individuals achieve positive outcomes. As a member of the Individual Support Planning (ISP) team, you’ll work collaboratively with internal staff, external professionals, and families. This position requires a person-centered approach, dedication to excellence, and a commitment to meeting 25 billable hours per week. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct and document functional behavior assessments (FBA), behavioral support plans (BSP), safety plans, and other clinical documents • Provide clinical consultation and oversight, with documented progress notes • Attend ISP meetings and collaborate with case professionals to review progress and update plans • Support and consult with Shared Living Specialists and other care providers • Maintain strong partnerships with KVC colleagues and external teams • Travel regularly within Omaha, Lincoln, and occasionally statewide Education & Licensure: • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field eligible for licensure as a Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska • Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) required • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and at least 21 years of age Preferred Experience & Skills: • 2+ years working in developmental disabilities, child welfare, juvenile justice, or mental health assessment/treatment • Experience with the State-mandated Therap database • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook • Strong commitment to excellence, teamwork, and person-centered service What We Offer: • Supportive, collaborative team culture • Clinical supervision from KVC’s Director of Clinical Services • Opportunities for professional growth and development • A mission-driven organization with a work wellbeing score of 82 on Indeed Be part of something bigger.
